Frequently asked questions

• How does scanning work? Point your camera at a product's barcode or ingredient label. Nitoriva looks up the product and analyzes its ingredients against your profile.
• Why is a product showing "No formula"? We don't have that product's ingredient list yet. You can add it by photographing the label, and it'll be added to our database.
• How do I update my skin/hair profile? Go to Profile → Edit Profile to update your skin type, hair type, tone, and goals at any time.
• How do I cancel my subscription? Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

We use the information above to provide personalized product match scores, routine analysis, and AI-powered answers to your questions. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Third-party services

We use third-party product and ingredient databases (such as Open Beauty Facts) to identify products and look up ingredients. Product photos you take may be processed by these services or by our AI providers solely to extract product and ingredient information.

Data retention

Your profile and scan history are retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@nitoriva.com.
